Taking products outside to their element can really add a little extra something to your photos. It makes them seem more natural since they are outside. I definitely wanted to take the Christmas themed lotion outside to where there was a lot of snow. I even rubbed snow all over the lotion bottle to get the effect that I wanted, even though I sacrificed what little warmth was left in my hands.
Aspen trees are my favorite, and I love the contrasting colors in the bark of the tree. I knew that the red of the lotion bottle would really pop against the black and white of the tree, so I placed the bottle next to the tree trunk–and even inside it–to make it look more in it’s element.
Also, shout out to Brittany for letting me steal her winter boots so I could take them outside.
