I’ve always really liked photo art. I’m still learning about all the magic that Photoshop can do, but I’m still having a lot of fun with what I’ve figured out so far.
I wanted to spice up a couple of images that I had taken on my trip to Laguna Beach, so I decided to add a bit of tweaks to them.
I had seen someone edit their photos like this, and I really wanted to try my hand at it. I imported both of these photos into Photoshop and used the Polygonal Lasso tool to select the subjects that I wanted to be silhouetted out with a floral design. I then created a mask with the floral print that I had found and then masked it in to where the subjects were. Easy! I had just created floral silhouettes, and I think that it adds a little extra something to them.
You could easily do this on your own. I had found my floral prints on textures.com, and there are tons out there that you can choose from.
Happy Photographing!
These are cool Lizzy! I love double exposure, it is one of my favorite thing to do on Photoshop. Check out this website for cool double exposures and tutorials http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/double-multiple-exposure-photography-tutorials/
These are interesting Lizzy. It looks like the two silhouettes are water. Check out Lisa Hoggan’s creative work. http://www.lisahoggandesign.com/blog/
