This post has been a LONG time coming. These two are some of my closest friends–and when they asked me to help them with their engagement photos, I of course said yes! The hilarious thing is that they’ve been married for about eight months now, so Jess, I’m very sorry it has taken me this long to get your session up.

We went out to a local park that has a lot of hiking and walking paths that’s perfect for photos. This is not the first time I’ve been out there to take pictures–I used this location for Chloe and Timmy, my surreal photography shoot with Zoie, and a few others. Zoie, who has been mentioned on this website more times than I can count (thanks for everything, my friend) helped me out on this shoot by running around with reflectors to make sure Brooks and Jess were lighted properly.

She’s such a great assistant. I think she ran back and forth thirty times to fix fly-aways and make minor clothing adjustments.

 They were so fun to take pictures with! We were messing around and making jokes the whole time. I’m so grateful that they are my friends, and that they allowed me to take their engagements. Of course, I couldn’t end the post without showing a few outtakes from the session.
